In my years of developing a website, the most toughest work for me would be the design part, maybe some of you will disagree with that but based on my experience designing a website is a very complicated task specially if your still new to it. I remember doing my very first template, three words can explain it all... "I hate it", good thing I keep on practicing and discovering new ideas by asking some of my friends who are really good in designing website. My friends are so amaze on my progress thou I'm not as good as them but they see me how I excel day by day. Up to now I still practice web designing. I'm not yet a guru like my friends but maybe someday I'll be one of them. Like me before you could be a good web designer if you stay focus, dedication plus passion trust me by putting them all together you could be a good web designer.
